It was acquired by the present collector owner in 2014 and has now had the benefit of a complete renovation up to original specification and to a very high standard indeed. This has included a completely new galvanised chassis and any other part that was needed to be replaced or repaired was done at the same time. Completely repainted in the original colour of Limestone. The canvas hood is in very good condition but a little stained but totally sound and apart from that the condition of the vehicle is totally first class. The current MOT certificate that expires in March 2022 shows only 58699 so clearly only 22 miles has been done since completion of the full restoration. This genuine low mileage RHD Land Rover series 3 is in truly fabulous condition. It has its original 4 cylinder petrol engine and runs extremely well and is one of the best seen in very many years. The mileage is supported by a continuous run of MOT certificates from 1993 at 25729 miles to 2014 at 58677. It is felt safe to assume that the 25729 miles at the start had been completed in the 11 years prior to 1993.
